The first of these two tracks is something I've wanted to try for a while. Each track had one of the 12 semitones at different pitches. Appropriate synth patches were set on each track and automated fade ins and fade outs were applied with suitable effects.

The second track was played on a fretless bass into the PC through MIDI Guitar 2. That triggered Dune 3 synth in the box. A separate audio track recorded the natural tone of the bass which was mixed in at points.
